MARICOPA — The second edition of Maricopa’s largest music festival has its first star attached.
LeAnn Rimes — whose hit songs in the 1990s like “How Do I Live,” “I Need You” and “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” turned her into a teenage sensation — will be headlining the Wild West Music Festival on Saturday, April 5, at Copper Sky Regional Park.

“We are excited to welcome the amazing LeAnn Rimes to this year’s festival,” said Steve LeVine, CEO of Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations, which runs the festival along with the city of Maricopa. “Her iconic voice has resonated with audiences worldwide and we are honored to bring her talent to Maricopa.”
The festival will run from April 4-6, with more headliners and opening acts expected to be announced soon.

The inaugural festival, which took place in October 2023 as a way to celebrate the city’s 20th anniversary, featured a variety of genres throughout the three days, including Nelly, Flo Rida and Uncle Kracker as headliners. An estimated 15,000-17,000 people attended.
Tickets for the first two days of the festival are on sale now for $30 for adults, while Sunday tickets are only $15. Tickets for children ages 5-12 are $15 and $5, respectively. Three-day passes are also on sale for $60 for adults and $30 for children.

In addition, there are tickets on sale for carnival rides, with different bundles available.
